Managing Your Activities
Once you've created your activities, either manually or via email, you can change details, add more detail, and of course remove the activity if it's no longer needed.
In this guide, we'll cover some of the common things you can do with your activities, and link to more detailed guides on certain functions such as managing documents and expenses.
If you need to adjust the date and time of your activity, or move the order within your itinerary for activities with no time set, we've created a detailed guide on this here.
Removing Activities
If you need to cancel an activity, or a planned activity is no longer taking place, you can quickly remove this by either:
- Using our quick actions from the itinerary view as we detail here.
- Tapping on the three dots at the bottom right of the activity itself and choosing Remove Activity.
Please be aware, there's no undo feature within Tripsy and deleted activities can't be recovered so we've intentionally made sure the remove options are relatively protected form accidental presses.
It's also worth noting that we don't, at least right now, have a way to automatically cancel flights or reservations if cancellation emails are forwarded to Tripsy. This is something we'd like to be able to handle in the future.
Documents and Expenses
If you're a Tripsy PRO user, you have access to add documents and expenses to your trip and activities to allow you to record the costs of each activity as well as store documents such as tickets, booking details, and more. We've created detailed guides on both features here:
Changing the Pinned Map Location
Sometimes, the location that's added to Tripsy won't match exactly where your activity is taking place. A great example of this is resorts like Disney World, where the reservation emails will generally give the resort address, but your activity may be at a specific spot (e.g. a certain restaurant).
Tripsy can help you here, as you can change the map location for any activity. To do this:
- Open the activity in question from your itineary
- Tap the three-dots at the bottom-right of the activity
- Choose More Actions > Change Map Location
- You'll be able to move the map pin as needed by dragging this to the relevant location. You can pinch to zoom the map in and out if you need to get a wider view.
- Once done, tap Save and the new map location will be saved.
This won't change the address within Tripsy, only the map location itself.
