Customizing Your Itinerary

We know that one size fits all isn't always the best way to display information, especially when it comes to something as personal as your travel itinerary. That's why we've given you a range of options to change how your trips' itineraries appear within Tripsy.

Layout Style

Starting with Tripsy 3.8, you can now choose a more compact view of your itinerary, as well as the original larger size. To change this, just tap on the three dots of the bottom left of your itinerary and you'll see the options for Small or Large under Layout Style:

Itinerary Preferences

To change your itinerary preferences:

• Open any trip within Tripsy
• Tap on the Itinerary header
• Tap on the three-dots at the bottom-left of the view
• Tap Preferences

The options are then broken down into three sections.

Itinerary Information

• Display Current Stay: When you have a hotel, or other accommodation type, within your trip that spans multiple days you'll see a banner for that stay at the top of each day that aren't your check-in or check-out dates.
• Display Day Count: This shows the day of the trip (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd) to the right of each day.
• Expand Departures and Arrivals: When turned on, any transport activities (e.g. flights, car routes, trains) will by default show the name of the route (e.g. New York to London) and then the departure location and time, followed by the arrival location and time. When turned off, you'll see the option to expand each route, but the default will be to just show the activity title and the departure time.
• Display City Name: This will show any cities where you have activities within each day alongside the date. For example, if you have a flight from New York to London and then a train journey to York in the same day, you'll see 'New York, London, York' next to the day's date.
• Display Time Zone Changes: If you have Tripsy PRO, you can choose if you want to see timezone changes within your itinerary.

Calendar Events

Starting with Tripsy 3.8, PRO users have the option to display their own calendar events alongside their activities. We have a detailed guide on how this works and the options around it.
