Using Saved Addresses

As of Tripsy 3.9 (August 2026), you can now save places like your home, work, parents' home, or any other important location as a Saved Address within Tripsy and then use those saved addresses quickly in your trips.

Adding a Saved Address

You can manage and add your saved addresses by going to Settings via your profile icon at the top-right of your trips list and then tapping Saved Addresses.

When you open Saved Addresses for the first time, you'll be given the option to add your Home and Work addresses, both being entirely optional.

Tapping on either option will allow you to search for a location, or use your current location, tapping on your chosen result will add this as your saved address.

You can add as many saved addresses as you want, for example you may want to add family members' homes for each route planning.

When you tap Add a new address you'll search for your location as normal, but once you select this you'll have the option to provide a name for your saved address, confirm the address and if needed check the map location is correct, as well as picking a color and icon for the saved address entry as it will appear in both the saved address list and your trips.

Save An Activity As a Saved Address

Already have the place you want to save added to a trip, maybe your go-to restaurant when you're travelling to that business meeting with that paper company in Scranton, you can quickly add any saved location in your trip as a saved address. To do this:

Open the activity details from your itinerary.
Tap on the more actions button (three dots) and tap More Actions.
Tap Add to my saved addresses.
You'll be presented with the same customization options as when adding an address manually as above.

How Saved Addresses Appear

There's two areas that your saved addresses will show up within Tripsy, either in the search when adding a new activity, or when changing your nearby filter for searching for other places.

In both cases, just typing the name of your saved address (e.g. Home, Work, Parents) will show that saved address at the top of your results.

Adding a Saved Address as an Activity

Add a new activity as normal
Start typing the name of your saved address (e.g. Home).
You'll see the saved address visible in the search resutls, regardless of what your Nearby filter is set to.

Using a Saved Address For The Nearby Filter

When searching for activities, you can change the 'Nearby' option to be one of your saved addresses. This can be helpful if you want to find restaurants near your home for a family dinner, or maybe find a hotel close to your in-laws home. To use a saved address for the nearby filter:

Add a new activity as normal and either start searching or choose a category.
Tap the current location shown next to Nearby
Enter the name of your saved address (e.g. Home).
Tapping on the saved address will then update the nearby filter for your search.
