Can I Export All of My Tripsy Data?
Absolutely, you can export a file with all your Tripsy data available by doing the following:
- Open Tripsy
- Go to Settings via the top-right of your trips list
- Scroll down to Storage and Data
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and tap Export All Data
This will generate a ZIP file containing all of your data, on iPhone and iPad this file will bring up the share sheet, and on macOS this will go to your Downloads folder. Inside this file you'll find:
- A folder named Documents which has all of the documents you've attached to trips of activities, these are named with their document ID.
- A Tripsy.sqlite file which is your Tripsy database. This is an unencrypted SQLite file and you'll need a dedicated app to open and read the data, there's a number of both free and paid options available across macOS, Windows, and Linux, one example would be the open-source DB Browser for SQLite
At this time, it's not possible to import this backup into another copy of Tripsy, and this is purely intended to allow you to access your data should you wish to.
